After the establishment of the Republic of China, there was almost no access to the central finance, and the financial crisis was very serious. In the short term, the issuance of paper money is also a good way to accumulate wealth. It is just that paper money is a representative of silver dollars and a voucher. Without sufficient preparation and wide circulation of silver dollars, it is difficult to establish credit for paper money. At this moment, the reform of the currency system is an urgent task. The "Yuan Datou" silver dollar was born based on this, and it is also an inevitable result of the development of the silver dollar. After years of casting, coupled with its high credibility, the number of "Yuan Datou" has increased, and its circulation has become wider. Although there are traces in remote areas. The passage of the "Yuan Datou" silver dollar promoted the unity of the silver dollar and prepared conditions for the "abolition of the two reforms". The silver coin of Yuan Shikai's head was coined by the Beiyang Warlord Government after the unified currency system of the National Currency Regulations was promulgated by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of China in February (1914) for three years (1914). "Big head", due to its silver balance and good reputation, became a popular currency used throughout China during the Republic of China period and beyond.

In 1931, the Kuomintang reactionaries carried out military siege and economic blockade on the Soviet area. The red regime was very hostile to the enemy’s struggle. In order to meet the needs of the enemy’s struggle, the Red Army had seized the old silver dollar from the “Yuan Datou” in the Republic of China for three years. On the right, I stamped "Soviet" on the right side of Yuan Shikai's head, which was used by me to show the difference. It was used to develop the economy of the revolutionary base area, and to guarantee the supply of the Red Army and the construction of the Red Regime. The Kuomintang once recast many silver dollars covered with "Soviet", so "Yuan Datou" stamped with "Soviet" stamps are rare and have a certain collection value.

This three-year-old Soviet version of the Yuan head of the Republic of China, although the collection has experienced the baptism of infinite years, it is still relatively well preserved. The color is bright and natural, the depth of the pattern is moderate, the thickness of the edge is uniform, and the spacing is uniform. Portraits, hair, beards, spikes, etc. are subtle and clear, vivid and natural. In the three years of the Republic of China, the "Yuan Datou" has a five-point profile of Yuan Shikai on the front, with the "Soviet" engraved on the right, and the words "Three Years of the Republic of China" on the right. The word "one circle". Even if it is "100 years old", it is still intact and in good condition. It is a fine silver dollar with high collection value.
